give me back my trees

I did not ask you to shave me off
You think I am a fool?
To your life I am a hero
Before I show you calamities
Give me back my trees

Do you know rain is my child?
Under me i contain its energy
Through trees I give birth to the rains!
Now I have no medium
To take back of it and give back to it
Before i show you calamities
Give me back my trees

How dare you cut without replacement?
Build houses on my nose
Cultivate on my skull
Surely, you’re greedy
Let me warn you now
Your own greed will backfire
I want my trees back

If you seldom replace my property
I will let the heavy stones slide over your slums
And i will dry all rivers
I will not harbor fish in the lakes
No dew will fall into your garden
Just give me back my trees
